Benue State Government has awarded the tax contract for agriculture produce to Mosdee Ventures, a company belonging to one Mr Kenneth Tyubee,
a mechanic workshop owner who operates beside Union Bank in Gboko local government of the state.
The contract worth over N10 million monthly returns which involves the collection of all taxes accrued to the state through agricultural products was signed last Thursday, 1 September 2016.
It is believed that Mosdee Ventures is being fronted by it’s present owner on behalf of a bigwig in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC party in Benue state.
Recall that the contract was previously awarded to Ghartatex Nigeria Limited owned by Ex-militant and amnesty beneficiary, Terwase Akwaza also known as Ghana.
However the contract was rescinded last month after Ghana was alleged to be involved in the assassination of the Governor’s aide on Security, Late Denen Igbana, and other crimes such as kidnapping and cattle rustling.
According to reports, Mosdee Ventures are currently mobilising to site while security agencies round up staff of Ghartatex Nigeria Limited.
