Benue State became first state in the country to meet requirements for accessing the 2015 round of Millennium Development Goals and Sustainable Development Goals conditional grants by paying N1.2 billion counterpart funds and execution of numerous health and water projects in communities of the state.
This year's General Assembly of the United Nations has the theme 'The Sustainable Development Goals: A Universal Push to Transform Our World'.
Governor Ortom's presentation is scheduled for Wednesday next week and will cover experiences and lessons learnt in the domestication and implementation of SDGs in the state.
