Unknown Gunmen have kidnapped three children in less than three days after the Department of State Services, in collaboration with the Benue State Security Council, paraded six children rescued from kidnappers in Makurdi, Benue State.
It was gathered that Alfred Adunm and two of his sisters were abducted this morning while on their way to the farm.
An eyewitness said two men with guns accosted the children, ordered them into a waiting vehicle and headed towards Adoka-Ankpa road.
When contacted, the Benue State spokesperson, ASP Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident stating that they have begun investigation into the case.
The Benue State Police Command on Friday, had paraded one kidnapper, Amos Etubi, a student of Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi and 18 other criminals who were arrested for armed robbery and car snatching in various parts of the state.
Yamu, while parading the suspects at the police Headquarters in Makurdi, said Etubi was arrested on his way to receive the ransom paid by the family of his victim, Usman Abdul Akwu, at the South core junction of the University premises.
