A Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa concert on Friday yesterday degenerated into chaotic event after a railing collapsed at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, injuring over 40 individuals.
The railing fell apart as the Snoop and Wiz took to the stage as part of their “High Road” tour and almost 50 people tumbled over, falling about 10 feet to a pathway below.
According to eyewitnesses, the rappers had performed the first half of their set and were returning from an intermission when the crowd surged forward and the rail gave way.
Officials at the event were forced stop the concert around 10:00 PM, so injured patrons could be tended to by medics.
Local reports calculated roughly that over 30 people were sent to area hospitals to be treated for mostly minor wounds.
