BENUE STATE FIRST LADY, MRS. EUNICE ORTOM DONATES TO WIDOWS

In continuation of the celebration of the first anniversary of the Benue Women In Prayer convocation, the wife of the Governor of Benue state, Dr. Mrs. Eunice E. Ortom donated various gifts ranging from cash to food items to widows, aged women and other christian women in the state.The donation which was made in phases, saw over 150 widows from various ministries and government agencies each getting an envelope containing undisclosed sums of cash, a bag of rice and oil.Aged widows and vulnerable women who attended the convocation, took home wrappers as well as food items.Other women groups/ Christian organizations were given bags of rice before the same was extended to each of the over a thousand women in attendance.The donations were from personal efforts of the Wife of the Governor with Support from Her husband, the Executive Governor of the state, Dr. Samuel Ortom and the Eunice Spring of Life Foundation.
