Four(4) Best practices to observe during fuel scarcity

Every now and then we hear this–FUEL
SCARCITY. It is gradually creeping in as a norm.

It has grown on us and unfortunately we just
take these situations as they come without
putting up any fight what so ever. Sad yes?
The implication of this has become quite
obvious in our everyday life. Prices of
everything, I mean everything rises with the
price of fuel. From food, to transportation, to
services and even things that have absolutely
nothing to do with fuel, trust people to always
take advantage. Well let us talk about a few
things we could do to make this situation
somewhat easier.
You could save the fuel money, jog!
Can't you see God is giving you a sign,
exercise! Guess the surprising thing that could
do for you, it can make you live longer and look
better! Try to cover some distances with your
unused legs and feel the difference. Who
knows, your next catch might just be that single
neighbor down the street you never noticed
because you have been driving in and out.
You could walk past VIO, LASTMA and all without
being harassed
What a good feeling yes? Instead of having to
reverse to take the other route when you see
them even though you have committed no
crime. It could save you some good money on
bribes and "oga sorry" too. I know people who
budget for bribe as they budget for other things
monthly, no jokes. So see this as an avenue to
spend that money on Ice-cream or Smoothies,
whatever route you have chosen to take.
Enjoy the air and sun
Well, I cannot guarantee the sun will be gentle
or the breeze will be fresh–but once in a while
let you skin take the Nigerian sun in (lol). It is
not that bad, trust me. Would you rather stay in
endless queues?
Get a Rechargeable Fan
Sleeping in heat can cause heat rash and even
bad dreams. God knows the effects of the
African Sun do not cease just because it is
evening. Take a shower before bed and save up
some money for a rechargeable fan which also
can be used to charge your phone. Talk about
killing two birds with one stone. But if you see
a bird in your dream, remember to reject it
when you wake up.
So if you can think of any more reasons, please
tell me.
